About the Entertainment Committee
The entertainment industry is one of the most important industries in Los Angeles, and perhaps the largest generator of jobs and economic activity in CHNC’s district. As such, Boardmember Davis felt a committee solely devoted to this was warrented. The Committee identifies events to sponsor—including major international and local film festivals (New Film Makers LA) and youth-oriented educational activities (MakeMusicDayLA)—and related community initiatives that might benefit from CHNC participation—assisting with the nascent Vinyl District in the center of Hollywood. In addition to Mr. Davis as Chair, the committee consists of Vice-Chair CHNC Board member Alex Massachi, & entertainment industry community stakeholders Anita Siraki, Apiwe Bubu, & Donny Swaga, all of whose service is most sincerely appreciated.
