Beautification Committee

About the Beautification COmmittee

The Beautification Committee focuses on matters related to the physical appearance of Central Hollywood and coordinated Board actions related to them. It’s purview includes parks, trees, and infrastructure (streets, sidewalks, utility boxes). Because these issues often intersect with ecological and environmental concerns, the Beautification Committee often takes the lead on issues of energy and global warming.

Signal cabinet murals

The Central Hollywood Neighborhood Council is proud to sponsor mini-murals on traffic signal cabinets at lit intersections in our neighborhood. Artists interested in helping beautify the neighborhood and earning a $250 stipend, please click here to learn more. Proposals are reviewed monthly and can be submitted to daniel@chnc.org
