Our Mission

"The Central Hollywood Neighborhood Council serves to elevate the voices and experiences of the Hollywood community."

CHNC is a certified Neighborhood Council under the City of Los Angeles's Department of Neighborhood Empowerment (EmpowerLA), certified since April 2002. We represent residents, businesses, schools, nonprofits, and community organizations in the Central Hollywood, Los Angeles area.

Our volunteer board meets monthly to address issues including homelessness, housing and land use, public safety, transportation, and community grants. All meetings are open to the public — your participation shapes Hollywood's future.
